The other day my Max died. Was merging on the freeway and the engine died. Found that the threaded stud on the carb cracked and lodged itself in the butterfly. I removed the stud and checked for any other metal. No other metal so i tried to start it again. It turned over and died. The fan pully has some play in it and the fan wobbled while turning over. Has anybody had this happen and is the fan pully a pita? How to? Towed it back to the pad. Is timing an issue at this point? Any input is appreciated
