help me locate starter!!!

Hey guys. I have an 87 d50. It has an ac compressor. Idk if that makes a diff. I cant find the friggin starter. I heard it might be located in the back. Is that possible? Plz help me find the starter. My truck wont start and we know it's the starter but cant find it.

i have a 94 mm idk if its the same place but my starter was underneath the motor on the driver side thats where mine is id if its the same i hope this helps

starters are always on the bell housing. They use the flywheel to start the motor. So where the transmission and engine meet is where you will find the starter.
