need cold air intake help!!!!!!

i recently purchased a universal cold air intake and i was wondering what to do about the mass airflow sensor?
I have a 1990 mighty max and the mas ( mass airflow sensor) is huge and it fit inside the stock size filter.
it wont fit the new cone filter so what do i do?

As far as I remember, you really cant do much with the 1990 styles. I had one that I just cut the metal away to open up air to the filter but it didn't give me any type of performance.

You would have to make some kind of canister with an inlet and outlet port that holds the airflow meter to get a cleaner setup than the stock one to work, plus the stock setup draws ait in from outside the hot engine compartment which is better anyway. It's ugly, but it works well
