alternator swap

Hey guys, I have a bagged 94 mighty max with the 2.4 I need a more powerful alternator for my compressors, and stereo, my first thought was a gm swap. I have seen a couple posts here about this, but I was looking on ebay and there are several high output alternators for eclipses out there, judging by the picture it looks very similar to the mighty max alternator. Does anyone know if an older eclipse alternator would work with the mighty max??? I also searched 4g64 alternator on ebay and it came up with a bunch for forklifts. Does anyone know if they actually have the same engine as our trucks???

i got a 1g alternator in my garage its off a 4g63 but my truck has a 2.0 not sure if the alternator is the same as your 2.4. i could take pics and measurements for you if you need.

Is a 1g off an eclipse? That would be awesome, your truck is lookin sweet man!

ya its out of a talon tsi same as an eclipse though. what measurements do you need?

Well I just got a response from the company and the alternator I was looking at is externally regulated. So it looks like I'm just going with a gm swap. Thanks though!!
