better fuel economy

i have a 1988 D50 sport with the 2.6. i am getting around 22 highway and 17 city. we have done full new fluids and plugs and distributer cap. and a head gasket on we, is there any way to get better fuel economy.

U can put a fuel heater on there an a hydrogen cell. U could double it

u make a addition to ur fuel system before it gos to the injectors. u make a peace that your coolent runs thro to heat your fuel to a warmer temp before it gos in to your injectors to help it vaperise better to turn from liqwid to gas faster. u can make 1 from pipe its pretty easy

2 questions. What kind of millage will that get me? What will putting the muffler back in do to my fuel economy? It hasnt had one since 1995.

little motors need back psi. u loose power by not having any type of muffler or restriction. just get a better flowing muffler from the auto parts store an they may help with mpg an power. the fuel heater im to to sure on the numbers but it dos help. if u have spare time make 1 an try it. 1 of these weekends ima try to make 1. have you herd of the 200mpg carberator? it works off of vaporising the fuel before it even gos into the intake making it better on mpg. by heating the fuel up it helps it mix with the air to get a cleaner burn with less fuel. u can also play with your timing
