anyone know what this is??

was driving today n that fell out of somewhere... and now my clutch pedal is all flimsy and cant put it into gear..

Ur clutch cable prob snapped bro happened to me. Look under the steering column n see if it did.

It is from your tranny. The clutch cable goes to it and it acts like a "slave cylinder" for your clutch. You will have to have it welded back on. Happened to me...twice.

so do i have to pull out my tranny?

No you should not have to.

Good luck trying to re weld with it on. Its a PITA. I would suggest taking the tranny out, took me 45min first time, on my driveway. Its really not to hard at all. Have a shop reweld a thicker piece on there to prevent breakage again.
