EGR Valve for a 1982 Dodge D50

Hello everyone,

Im having the hardest time locating an EGR valve for this truck. Im confused as I believe that these are Mitsubishi engines. My EGR valve is frozen and I need to get either a good used one or purchase a new one but I cannot find one for passing California smog. Can someone help me??!! I called the Mitsubishi dealer and they told me that is is part # MDO256556 but is shows 1984?? I have a 2.0 manual carburated version...

Does anyone out there have a part # or the one I listed is correct?

I just looked couldn't find a new one for an 82 and your part number wouldn't work either, found new for 83 and 84 though. I would think they would be the same as an 82 as nothing on these motors has really changed. But if you are willing to go with a used one try out car-part.com or find the number for M&S Recycling in CA and they might have one.

you might want to broaden your search and search for and egr valve under the Montero as some of the local auto parts stores have limited parts info for mighty max and the d 50

ok what years should I look for on the Montero model assuming the EGR valve is the same?
