Destroke

Im wanting to get more power out of my 2.6 im thinking bout destroking the engine since i got the biggest 4 cylinder i cant stroke it im wondering if a 2.0 crank and camshaft will fit in my engine??

the only way destroking your motor would help out get more power is if you have a turbo and wanted to run a massive amount of boost. and this would only be a race setup. running more boost like this would effectively turn your motor into a on/off switch... if your looking to get more power out of it I would sugest freeing up the intake and exhaust. or motor swap.
