Hey Yall,
Still kinda new and haven't been on in a while but my Clutch Fork/Lever broke again after 10 months for the 3rd time I know off, I came back for advice. I guess the part from the Mitsu is horrible and cheaply made(not to mention cheap like 60 bucks, don't mind buying it, its dropping the Trans or paying someone to drop it thats the problem). I couldn't find any aftermarket but Ive heard of people welding it better or big chunks of metal to it. BTW I got a '94 MM with a 2.4l and a cable actuated clutch and a good clutch that was replaced three or so years ago now according to previous owner.
Anyways I was thinking get the part, weld it up and throw it in and maybe replace the Pressure plate, TO Bearing and Clutch Plate too. I guess the PP could be warped and causing more strain on the TOB and Fork.
Am I the only one with this problem, if not anyone have any answer and fixes? Anything will help tired of paying $400 every time this piece of crap breaks.
Thanks,
Aaron
