hey

ive recently bought a might max, and the rear sits really high!
it looks standard, i dont think any ones messed around with it

would it be the leaf springs? do the heavy duty springs make the back sit high?

or is it something else?

i just wonna make it sit level!!

thanks guys!

They come 2" higher in the back stock. Either throw in some 2" drop blocks or pull the middle leaf and she will be sittin level

ive finally got round to taking the rear springs out..but...

my rear leaf springs have 4 leafs to them... which one do i take out?

thanks

You must have a 1ton pickup or someone added leafs, should only have three. With my middle leaf pulled I have the thick bottom leaf left and the skinny main leaf

any chance of a pic of yours?

just found that one of mine is cracked, so need to find some new ones

do the springs off later models fit, like the 1996-2006?
or off a shogun?

cheers!

i actually use my truck for hauling stuff and leveled makes a truck look worn out to me. the stock rake looks great on a truck......like a hot rod or drag racer.

i think the stock leaf springs are ugly in general and my truck sags bad when i load it up. i'd love to see photos of the 4 leaf chassis and of your truck in general. thinking i'll swap in a 1st gen montero rear clip with trailing arms, coil springs and integral sway bar.
