tires on my 2wd mm

I plan on using the stock wheels for my 90 mighty max but going up on the tire size to a 225/70 r14 (stock was 195/75 r14) due to very few choices available that offer any traction off pavement. Has anybody tried this size to know if they will fit without any modifications?
