D50 MAKE OVER !

i have a 89 ram 50 that's in decent shape,but i wanted to redo everything.one thing that i really wanted to do was remove the entire interior,remove the bed and the cab from the frame,so that i could paint the frame and have the bed and cab sent to the painter.now my ? is how hard is it to remove the body from the frame,is it a good idea to have the body painted with out it being on the frame and is it possible to remove the cab with out dropping the motor?any info,pics would really help thanks.

It would be relatively easy to get the cab off and painted alone, but I would think the hard part would be getting it back on without scratching it all up. I would just pull it off and clean/paint frame and then put it back on and paint it with the cab on.
