seen some different videos on this the one ? i have that i see most people do different is in the prep.some scuff the rim then paint and some remove all the paint witch is more nessasary.
All that really needs to be done is scuffed/sanded so that there is no more smooth and shiny spots. You need to make sure the paint has something to bite onto and hold its bond.
what grit should i sand with to get the paint off then what grit before the first coat of primer,and then what grit do i sand the primer with before i put base coat?
just sand the paint so there is no shiny spots with like 320 or 400, then clean with soap and water or wax and grease remover/cleaner then prime and paint.
