So Camloc, when I have another member or members promote this site on your site, you won't ban me right?

You are right though, I've been too busy with other things to watch the spam as well as I should.

Baha,
So does the yourscene network belong to you, or are you just an admin for this site and others? Or does someone buy a scene.com domain name from you and they run it on the scene template.
Don't get me wrong, but somthing is happening over there. The number one rule of web survival is up time and monitoring. Out of the list below there are a lot of sites that have been turned off. The first one (The corporate main page) was turned off in the first quarter of the year and all there is now is a page that says [Your Scene Network] New Site Coming in 2014! Even the twitter feed has not been updated since 2011.
So why did someone pull down the site before the new one was up and tested. That just does not make any scene. Then there are 3 other forums that are down from spam. Aren't all the sites tied into an anti spam data base system to stop them before they get to register? If not they should be. Stop Forum Spam.com and the Akismet service is the way to go. Throughout the hole scene network 50% of the exposure is turned off.

Using the way back machine it shows there was a bunch of team members. What happened to all of them. If you need help on the sites I would guess there are guys that would gladly step up and help if you asked them. All people want is a place to post pictures of there cars, make friends, and ask questions when somthing breaks. All the mighty max and D50 world wants is stability like everyone else. MightyRam50 is committed to finding and preserving manuals and information about these trucks. So what does the future hold for this site and the Your Scene Network? It' would be big loss of great information on these trucks and others the scene network has provided over the years if somthing happened. We don't want to see that happen to this site or any of the other ones. I know that some people like this format of a forum over others, and vise versa. But no matter how you cut it. All people want is stability and a clean site. If you give them that people will come.
With the way the your scene network is set up you have the ability to make cross domain log in and networking. One user name and password works on all sites. All sites cross linked. So if one guy has Toyota and a Dually Chevy he only needs to make user profile and work across other boards or platforms. There are a boat load of off the shelf products that can do that and more. PhPBB is just to labor intensive but it could be done. The mightyram50 site is more or less a bunch of guys that crossed over from the mightyD50 site. I never even knew it existed. But it does show up in the way back machine.

Yes, I own/run everything but I've had some great admins and moderators help over the years. Don't worry, these sites aren't going anywhere. It would make more sense if you knew the big picture. I started developing custom software for the automotive/forum type community which will power these sites. Unfortunately I can't do it full time and have a demanding full time job. This leaves me with having to decide whether to spend the little time I have on the big picture or to maintain code that is going away soon.

So you won't mind if I promote this site on yours right? Then I can piggy back off of the work you put into recruiting users as you do here.

Well that explains a lot. I only come around when things look like there heading off the cliff. I only wanted people to know there is an alternative resource available to them if somthing went south. So what happened to the other sites? No time or did the membership just slow down?
I'm sure we can accommodate you. Perhaps you would like to exchange banner adds of a smiler size to be placed on each others site?
What do you have in the line of a banner add that we could place on the board in an appropriate place. Or if you have a section of your site we can use an I-frame and zero in on it.
One more question. What do you do for a living? You don't strike me as a mechanic. Since the majority of your posts are not mechanically related.

Oh and one more thing. You may want to look at the users below. The names are way to similar to not be spam bots.

Thank you sir, I believe that your intentions were good. I'm glad I didn't make that script.

The state of my sites aren't making me look good but I'm a Sr. System Engineer. I'm on a team that supports a pretty demanding customer that runs 24hrs a day. I won't go into detail but I can get woken up in the middle of the night and I constantly work odd hours. A lot of the time I'm to burned out to work on my own stuff.
