engine swap

can i put a 92' mighty max 2.4L motor into a 91 mighty max??

yea im sure you can the 91s come with the 2.4L fuel injected unless thars a sencer idk about...... hope that helps

Yes 90-95 came with a 2.4 so they can be swapped. Only difference was if you had a 1990 where the MAS sensor is different but otherwise everythig else is he same

I do believe the 92's had the same style sensor though. But I could be wrong.

To moto86: Is your MAF sensor a large round canister looking piece? Or oval on one end and square with 4 bolt holes on the other?

I have a 88 Montero with bad gas engine.
A friend has a diesel 4 cyl in his barn, but he doesn't remember what it came out of.

How may I tell by looking at it if it is a Mitshibishi
diesel engine?
