I ordered a Weber from weberdirect and a friend of mine is installing it for me. The linkage that connects to the transmission won't connect. Is there any kind of forum or detailed installation pictures or videos for the automatics? I can't find anything. It is the only problem we're having. It's not the right linkage or something.

Thanks.

Has anyone installed a weber on an automatic?

Well, we figured it out. We had to fabricate the throttle arm from the original carb and drill a hole to put a throttle release spring because the throttle kept sticking.

Also, for now, the transmission cable is connected with a wire.

So, hopefully, if anything this can help someone out. It is a world of difference as far as peppiness goes. This thing has much more pickup than it did originally. It moves. It's amazing. My mechanic friend has a weber on his b2200 and he was saying it would put his truck to shame.

I will get some pictures of it when I get a chance. So you guys can get an idea of the correct way to install it.

Here are some pics of the carb and the truck. I just washed the truck, and figured I'd throw those in there. I'd post them here, but I always have issues with uploading pics here.
