Problems with 94 mighty max. Please help

I have a 94 mighty max,when engine is cold it will not stay running until engine is warm.
But there is also other problems ,also while trying to get engine warm you have to feather tap the the gas or it will stall ,have to get rims to 3 to 4 thousand. Once engine is warm and you rev engine it cuts out. When trying to drive you have to feather tap gas and barely press gas pedal. Acts like not getting gas fuel filter is good fuel pump,plugs ,wires,distrubter,rotor button air filter ,is good. Tried pulling codes with analog volt meter said it was vehicle speed control sensor,motor position sensor, tps, called auto part store said the first two was dealer parts. Called dealer and nothing they looked up show those parts for that vehicle . To double check I hooked meter back up and now not pulling any codes. Can someone help I'm lost and need to get truck running. 94mightymax 4cyl 2.3 liter automatic. Please help

Have you checked the fuel pump with a pressure gauge? I know you seed it was good the next thing I would check is the intank fuel filter it sounds low pressure to me.

Have u tryed a Temperature sending unit? Make shure u get the one that has two wires going to it. cause they have two temperature sending units. The one with the one wire is for the dash gage and the one with the two wires is for the ecu. Hope this helps.

my friends truck also is giving out the motor position sensor error code. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where it is located or what it is a component of. I think that is one of the main problems as his truck does not run very well either and all of his other parts are in good condition. I'll let you know if I find anything

Good to finally know. So if its throwing that code it basically needs a new distributor right mxmikie?
What about the vehicle speed control sensor?
