I purchased my 1988 Power Ram 2.6L 4X4 about a month ago for $650. The rtuck is inreally great shape considering it's age. I have went through and changed out all the filters and changed all the oils and fluids and upgraded the wiring to ngk wires and an accel super stock coil. The truck still lacks power and I have ensured the timing is set to factory spec as well as the curb idle still it's not where I want it to be. I have read alot about the Mikuni carbs and how they can be problematic.
So I purchased a Weber carb from Redline and will be making the swap out this week if the weather stays nice. Any suggestions or heads up about doing this?

its pretty easy to do. the nice thing is you can get rid of all that vacum egr junk. you wont even need your ecu anymore either. i even did away with all the extra wireing too. just remember its a n/a four cylinder its always gona lack power.
