i am planning on doing a engine swap in my 89 mm with a 4g63 engine out of a mitsu talon. the engine currently in my mm is a straight 4, 2.0 liter, the orignal. just wondering if theres anything i will have to watch out for or may have troubles with

The engine will mount up fine, but check the trans bellhousing, fuel pump and other ancillaries to make sure they are compatible. You'll have some rewiring to do for the ECU, and the ECU is different.
