Hey everyone. This had got to be one of the coolest things on the web!

My name is Donny D and I live just north of the city of Atlanta.

I have a project 1990 toyota that is slammed with a bodydrop and airbags. The truck is completely being rebuilt by Jody Hall in Pikeville, KY. Some of you that may be into the lowered ' minitruck ' scene may remember my last toyota from one of it's many features in magazines such as minitruckin', truckin' sport truck and streetsourcemag.com. You can see pictures of it by checking out my websight ( ) and clicking on page one and two. As for my latest project, that's under wraps right now except to a few people but I'll tell you the truth, some you guys will be the first to see it since I see that there are a few GA. people here ( sup rodney? You didn't think I'd forget about you did you? LOL ) I have been involved in the custom truck scene since about 1992 and have been reading minitruckin' since about 1989 ( I still have all the issues to prove it.. dang I'm old ). I'm skilled in car audio and electronics but after doing electronics professionally for about 11 years I've finally moved on to a new career in the CNC field and yes.. I'll be making some parts for my toyota that I MAY duplicate for some of you guys ! That about does it for me for now...

Anyway I'm off to my Church Pastor's house for a study called experienceing God so I'll be back on later.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and once again I say this sight is AWESOME! Thanks Johnny 5 for taggin' me with a link.

Wow! Thanks for the open arms guys!

Rodney I knew it was you as soon as I saw your screen name on here..lol You mentioned you still have some parts from my old '93, get this.. My 1990 toy has parts from my '93 too. LOL. I just been junkyard hopping to get some parts together for the chrome plater. Man I forgot how much fun it is to build a truck and always be broke! Rodney I can't wait to meet up again.. how's your brother?

Baha, I'd love to have a 'yota scene meet here in GA. but understand mine is not a daily driver ( plus it's in Kentucky right now ). I drive a big lifted TJ ( jeep wrangler ) daily. I don't know where you are in GA but usually on Saturday nights we have quite a turn out over by the mall of GA. It's pretty cool.. the only rules are no tire spinnin', no draggin' and no alcohol. Let me know if you have an idea for a place to meet up and I'll be there!

Nathan, Thanks for the kind words about my old toyota. I really regret sellin' that thing at times but I know once my current toyota is near completion my regrets will fade. As for posting pics.. I have NO idea how to do that on here but if you go to my website at and then click on page 2 there are a few pics including one of it in the garage with no bed on it ( Rodney can testify to the fact that the bed came off about twice a year to clean under it and wax the frame, etc. ) Tell me about your truck

Thanks again Johnny 5 for telling me about this place!

KYLE! ( You didn't think I forgot about you did ya? ) I see you have taken your toyota to an entire new level of attention to detail. I'm pretty impressed with it man. So when are you EVER gonna make me a model? j/p .. but you sure are good at building them.

Well I'm gonna snoop around here some more while I have time before bible study.

lookin' forward to chatting with you all..

Donny D

Oh and if any of you are wondering the fate of my 1993 toyota well I sold it to a stereo shop that never took care of it. They sold it to some 20 something guy who claims he built it and he talks as much crap as he can about all the trucks he sees since he thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. I have yet to meet the kid but I hear that when he was at nopi he claimed he built it and was corrected with a quickness...lol

my truck is a 97 (yes they were stil made in 97 here) extra cab pickup, in the middle of buildin it, so far it has 3 inch BD, suicide doors rx7 irs and 2 pump juice setup, tube upper and lower arms up front, 97-00 taco front, and a v8 should be delivered to my house this week.

i bet it was a sad day to see the truck roll away, i hope you one day meet the kid that owns it now, just to point out some of the small mods that he dosent know about, some people have no idea about truckin, its not a trend, its a lifestyle.

anyway dude, i cant wait to see your next project, any chance of a sneak peak?

Thanks Nathan. Your truck sounds dang insane!

I'll post a few pics of my old beast and my new project as soon as someone will help me figure out how to do it.

I wasn't sad when i sold my old truck because i was doing it out of anger.. it wasn't until a year later that it hit me how foolish i was.

I want to move to Austrtalia so bad but I don't qualify.. your government has very strict criteria for ugly americans to move down under.
