New from Alaska

yep, graduated from palmer high in 1992, live in alaska from 2nd grade to after high school. I actually lived in a duplex by the diamond center in anchorage for a nit too- lol--- i havent been back to AK since, wanna go though. my parents are still there. They just bought 35 acres of land at mile marker 84 of the glenn hwy to build their "dream house".

What year did you leave AK? I used to spend every weekend on the strip in a dark grey slammed 93 Yota with purple neon under it (I had it from 93 to 95). Did you used to do the same? What did you drive? I live off of Jewel Lake and Rasberry now, so I'm not that far from the Dimond Center, my kids (6 and 9) love to hang out there when we have free time. I saw several cars from Valley Cruisers at the show on the Park Strip a couple of weeks ago.

I kick myself in the ass every day for leaving my old ride there, id kill to have it today!!
Back then i was rollin a 1969 toyota hi-lux canadian built standard cab pickup...slammed and black, all original- had the 80's thing goin on, the tailgate letters were painted over so it just said "toy",with my name airbrushed over it...LOL!
to this day i hate thinking about it, i spun a rod and gave the truck to a friend right before i left the state, everything but the motor was CHERRY!
