ok I have a friend that has a s10 with 3" djm drop coils up front. after having them on there for awhile now he says one side is sitting 1.5" lower than the other. what exactly can we do about it? is it cool to heat or cut the spring on the taller side?
also he wants some drop spindles on it, but will they fit without the tie rod rubbing on 16" wheels? ( I don't know anything about these trucks, I have a nissan)
I'm about to have an extra set of slam specialties rs 72 bags and we thought about just putting those on there. I have a feeling it is easier to do than with a torsion bar suspension like my hardbody. I've seen the bag cups for the s10's but never paid much attention. do you just bolt or weld them in place and bolt up the bag? or are there alot of modifications that have to be done? I guess the shocks have to be relocated to the back of the control arm?
this is a 2000 or newer truck if that matters. just give me some info so I can tell him what he needs to do with it.
