ok, so i got the 350 in there, running great. I also put on a ford 9" rear. At first i was leaking fluid out the new brake lines in the back, but i've fixed that.
Now i'm pretty sure i'm leaking brake fluid out of the master cylinder somehow. There's brake fluid soaked all over the face of the booster which has caused all the paint to come off. At a stop light tonight, i pumped the brakes and a cloud of smoke came out my engine bay. I realized also that one of my collector bolts is missing and i'm blowing exhaust into the engine bay as well.
I'm thinking that brake fluid is being sucked into the vaccum booster and into the engine and burned off. Has anyone else had this problem or can give me some insight as to what i should look for?
I pumped the brakes and didn't notice and brake fluid leaking from any lines. I don't think that cloud of smoke came from the outside the headers. I think it came from inside the engine out through that collector with the missing bolt.
