I recently put in a Cluster w/Tach. I noticed that the fuel gage is just barely touching the full line when I TOP OFF the tank with fuel. I mean, I put in ever little possible drop in the tank. When I start the truck, it goes right up to 3/4 full but takes about 5 minutes to get all the way to touching the full line. In cars I have had in the past, when I filled the tank the needle seemed to go right up to full within a minute at the most.
My question is for those of you with a tach, you have the same fuel gauge on the left of the cluster. How does yours read when FULL. Is the needle just barely up to the full line, over the full line, right on the full line.
Also, how long does it take for yours to read FULL upon starting it after filling the tank?
I know this seems kind of anal but I just wanna make sure its working somewhat correctly. I forgot how long it took for the needle to show full with the old cluster that had the BIG fuel gauge.
Your replies would be appreciated.Thanks
