chrome + babywipes = what?

If you use babywhipes w/ alchohol, will it mess up your chrome? What about w/o alchohol? Does the alchohol help clean them?

I figured that if you kept some baby whipes in the back of your truck, you can clean your wheels on the fly, and pick up chicks because they think you have a kid and it's so adorable and junk.
