Lowering a 01+ TACO

Hey,
I'm lookin for a new dailydriver that gets better then 13-15mpg *(curently have durango with 5.9) Really like the looks of the 01 and newer taco's,
Are they like the older yotas with teh T-bars or are they updated to a spring up front. How far can you get one down with a static drop. I dont wanna, nor can I afford to bag it at this time.
Seriously no one around here has a 2wd for me to even look at. If i do find a 01 and newer it is 4wd.
I really want a silver, black, or blue 01 extended cab 2wd with the crome front end

My friend gots a 01 wit a static drop, this is what we did to my friends truck, DJM upper control arms, cut 2 coils off the stock springs, flip ball joints and that should give u a 5" drop in the front, in the back we use chassis tech 3" angled block plus remove middle leaf, would give u a 4" drop but when u look at it from the side it looks even...you can go lower but the ride would suck... BTW dope truck wit da 2 tone...
