Okay, I foudn out I had an air leak last week and I finnally got aroudn to being able to fix it. I pull my truck into the shop and the following things happen wrong:
1. It's 7p when I start, and I have to drive to dallas at 7a the next morning
2. The air leak is farther up my line(going to my front bag) than I thought.
3. I don't have the right fitting so I have to jimmy rig it.
4. My brake pads are bad, so I had to go to Autozone to get some replacements(some lifetime warinty thing)
5. By the time I get back to start up on it again, it's 9p.
6. Fix the line, and figure out that the brass fittings that I used, will just get crushed when I raise my bags(because it causes the a-arms to close up somehow)
7. I borrow a sawz-all from a friend and the blade is too short and too dull, so now I have a nasty chuck out of my bottom a-arm.
8. I get it all put back together with the help of my dad(which has been having back problems.
9. I feel bad about keeping my dad up so late.
10. We turn the wheels both ways and the airline rubs with the wheel. We solve that problem by ziptieing the line closer to the frame.
11. I go to put on the last wheel, and spent an hour only to find out that one of the treads on the studs of the rotor(where you put the nut on) is stripped or something.
12. I have to wake my dad up at 11p, and he busts out his stud fixer. He fixes it allright, fixes it right off the rotor.
13. I finnally return the sawzall to my friend which is probably sleepin, and roll back home with only 3 nuts on one of my wheels(lost theother going down the highway)
So call me a crybaby or whatever, all this and I have to drive to freakin dallas on 3 nuts on my left front wheel, and my right side airline is jimmyrigged.
Oh yeh, questions..
You think I'll be safe driving down the highway doing like 60mph with 3 lugs?
