Bracket behind cab, standard cab

The bracket right behind a standard cab mazda, that has the drive shaft right under it. Right where the driveshaft goes under it, it goes from being straight to a little bit of curve to clear the driveshaft. If you understand me, is this a problem when backed. I almost was going to cut it out but then noticed the driveshaft ends right there and another bar comes back connecting to it. If you understand me, let me know whats up.
