Tubbing Firewall

Thinking I'll have to tub my firewall when the air ride goes in. Any photo's of this being done? And info if any problems? 88 Extra Cab 225x18/40 tires

i dont think you'll have to gary.... u may if u want it laying flat, but that means you'll have to "Z" your front clip, mine was bagged and not "z'ed" without tubs and was fine, with 215/35/18..... now if your gonna bodydrop it later on, then ya, you'll have to tub it

Not doing a body drop,but right now at ride height(static dropped) the frame is 4 1/2'' & the front cross member is 2 1/2'' from the ground. And only about a 1 1/2 '' between front tire & firewall. The tire can go up a little but seems like it will hit the firewall?

take your torsion out of one side, jack up you arm till it stops... or, once its bagged, jack it up and see if it hits... i dont think it will... if it does, it will be just barely... just hit it with a hammer a few times and it'llbe fine till u tub once its bodydroppped....
