On my truck the 2.2 with the automatic the oil presure is high when I first start it and its around 70ish when it only goes to 80 and then it will "warm up" and then it will stay under 40 at idle but when I give it gas the oil presure gose way up almost to 70 and then it will levle out some but to about 50ish. And then when I idel it will go just under 40. And my truck is new it only has 1,000 miles on it and it runs fine is there somthing wrong with my engine or is it normal....But my freind has an 00 S-10 same motor but his is 5spd. and his oil presure is high untill it warms up and then it stays around the same area when giving it gas.
