i am baggin the front of my 92 yota and i am having a problem. the balljoints are not letting the control arms come up far enough to lay out. i have not welded in the bag mounts yet because i cannot get the front to go down all the way. i do not have drop spindles or control arms- but i have seen people bag them without! what am i doin wrong? do i have to have drop spindles to lay out? i am putting drop spindles on eventually but i was goin to do that when i built a new tranny x-member.

Have you flipped the ball joint to the top of the arm? That may help you lay out if you're not far from it. Depending on yoru tire size, however, you may have to cut and angle the upper arm. Depending on how you do this, it may add a little bit of camber. Or, you can go with tubular control arms like this, that have a little extra balljoint angle built into them.

I was talking about flipping the upper balljoints. That will be key in them binding.
