How long have you been working on your truck/how much longer till your satisfied?????

I've only had my truck 8 months and it's dropped on 18's with a phat stereo...I wanna do alot more, but i wanna do it now! and the funds aren't agreeing with me.like the topic says, whats your timeline look like, what have you done, how long has it taken. I'm just an average guy, no shop, doing it on an average salary, trying to do as much as i can myself and learning on the way...
