i have this project that i just cant seem to finish, out of money, out of time. this needs a good home. here is all the info.
-you will see that the chassis is painted gloss black, this is 2 coats of por-15 rust protective coating. it looks very nice and clean.
- i have firestone airbags 2500lb front 2600 lb rear, six valves (4 for the front, 2 for the rear) all 3/8" plumbing, kp components 4 link, superior 2" drop spindles, new upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends, new trans crossmember, new monroe shocks, 5 gallon air tank
-you will notice that the truck was originally red. the red cab was no good and needed much repair, i had an 85 toyota xtra cab truck that i started to work on and then decided to swap every piece of sheet metal (including the cab) over the the turbo truck, this included a new bed from toyota, and 4x4 fenders. i had the bed floor raised up 7.5 inches so there would be no need for a hole in the floor for the rear suspension and body drop, i also had a steel roll pan welded and molded in as well. the underside of the bed is painted with por-15 for added rust protection like the chassis. i shaved the emblem holes and cargo light holes in the cab and shaved the windshield spitters in the hood. the cab is cut for a body drop, the only place i didnt finish cutting is around the transmission tunnel and at the body mounts on the underside of the cab. the firewall is also cut for tire clearance and will need small tubs welded in as well
-you will notice that the only thing left untouched on this truck is the motor, with it only having 82k miles on it and a recent turbo replacement about 11k miles ago, i didnt want to mess with it at all. everything with the motor is all original. you will need an exhaust system for it though.
-the wheels are 17x8 billet specialties with brand new 215/45-17" tires that never saw the road.
-i got some pics of the seats and gauge cluster for you, i will have to pull the other interior parts from storage to take pics of them for you. the driver's seat shows some wear with one small tear. the rest of the interior is in good shape but will need a good cleaning, the dash pad isnt even cracked. some of the dash parts are painted red from the previous owner but i have replacement parts for most of the painted parts.
-i also have an extra hood, and alot of other extra interior parts also. there is also a rear sliding window and a very hard to find solid rear window that took me years to get ahold of.
-the truck has a brand new 88 chrome grill and mirrors. all of the other factory chrome trim is still in nice condition (ex. door handles and such)
-i am sure there is other info that i am forgetting so dont hesitate to ask questions. i know 2500 might sound a bit steep for a project far from done like this one, but just the cost of the suspension parts and bed alone exceed that amount
