Exhaust tips on a mini??

The other day i saw a mini ( believe it was a hardbody not sure didnt pay 2 much attention) anyways, it had a exhaust tip coming out through the sheetmetal right behind the rear tire on the passenger side. and it didnt look 2 bad. i thought i might do it 2 my truck when its time 4 the exhaust excpet id have it on both sides and have little 3 inch tips. i might do it and might not. what do u guys think??
