headlight problem

ok so i was driving the other day and i hit a bump and all of a sudden my headlights went out,the weird thing is that my highbeams wrk,but they dont stay on,i got to hold the lever back for them to wrk.i got no clu wat the problem is that me headlights dont wrk,i turn the switch for the headlights and allof my other lights turn on but not my headlights.wat yall think

fuse, headlight itself, the headlight switch?? i'd start w/ the fuse and check that, then i would mess with the whole headlight

my lights are simular... i had a coupel mechanics from my work look at it and my hi beams dont work when i throw them forward but they do when i hold them back... they said the pickup was bad in the lever switch...

Check all of your grounds. Also, there are some headlight relays under your dash. Replace them. I have a picture of what they look like if you need to see one.
