hey, just a word of advice...DONT run over your own engine wiring harness...LOL.

I was going out last night and a zip-tie broke, letting the wire harness meet the passenger front tire- not good! so, after some cussing and working till 6 pm today, IT LIVES AGAIN!! so if anyone needs help with the engine harness on an '84 22r carb engine, i just about have it memorized since i had to repair the whole damn thing.

Ps- used cable clamps that are bolted down this time, 'cause i aint gonna go thru this shit again!

Had to vent- still kicking myself in the ass...but on the bright side , i cleaned up the harness alot, and it looks alot better now!

carb is faster-less complicated, and gives you better HP... you can adjust a carb to dump more gas- or swap carbs to a dual weber setup-..
EFI you have to change fuel rails, injectors, pumps etc etc...to increase HP
Plus the 84 22r engine has slightly more h.p. over the 85-95 22r,or 22RE due to it having dished pistons, a domed head, and a taller block height. add the rv cam, and its ON:)

- and I still get 26 MPG!!! HA!
