my friend chris has a 95 tacoma running a triangulated 4 link with the bottom bars running forward and the top bars reversed. we know this is why his driveshaft rubs and and hits the cab and have always known it was the problem but because the pinion angle was dead on at drive height, he left it alone. now that his truck is body dropped he is having a lift problem and he barely clears the wheel in the rear at full pressure. Hes pretty hooked on a doing a 2-link to minimize his body roll just a little bit and to get some lift. hes only running a F/B setup and wants to keep it that way. now my question is has anyone done a two link on an import mini? i know that mounting the bars on the outside is not an option as there is no space between the fram and the wheels. what restrictions does the inside pose? or even directly underneath the frame similar to bolt-on s-10 links? ive suggested a fwd mounted triangulted 4-link and a reversed triangulated 4-link is pretty much out of the question due to the braking and weight transfer issues. show some pics if youve got them.
please dont turn this into a 30 page hate thread on why 2-links are bad. i dont wanna hear it. i already read the other 5 threads on it. i just wanna know if anyone has done it and if the have any pics or tips becasue i havent had a chance to look at the space on the truck yet.
sorry for the book
