Alright I need some help from the folks running AC and have the fenders cut for bags
How did you run the AC lines?? I still need some pics
Iknow what most of you al are going to say already
"Ditch the AC"
This is my daily driver so I drive through rain and such
Rain+ No A/C= Sucks Donkey Balls
I was going to go to a shop tomorrow to see if they could make some new ones to run along towards the top of the inner fenders
Thanks

Yeah Id say make new ones.....I make them at work all the time most of the fittings are realtivley standard fittings you just lay it out how you want them and then can crimp and make them for ya.......just extend them...

Well My hard line in the front going from the Liquid Tank to the condensor has recently got a pin hole in it so I ordered the line from Toy. and have a new Expansion Valve and Liquid tank and am going to convert to 134
Sucks though cause my R12 was Ice cold

Why convert it then......run Freeze 12 you dont need a liscene for it and it can mix with your r-12....freeze 12 is alot colder and cheaper than r134a......

true

I have a liscene so I can get the real R12 no problem I can charge and re-charge R12 but the cost of it is way more than R134 cust cost is 13 a lb but I get it for free

what all has to be changed a/c wise to convert it from the r12 to r134? my compressor for the a/c broke and has been for a few years so im sure its all trash now.

rain + no a/c = no girls/2= donkey balls. lol.

Well You are supposed to replace the Liquid tank( Dryer Acculator all the same thing) wich is about 20-25 bucks and the you should replace the expansion valve that is like a Orrfice tube it seprates the gas from the liquid and debis collects there
Then fluch the old oil out of the condensor the Evaperator and the lines then drain the old oil out of the compressor or replace if you have the money put Pag oil in the evap about 1oz another oz in the liquid tank and another in the condenseor and put some in the compressor( I can get the exact amount if you need it this is off the top of my head right now)The get the R12 to 134 fittings take the scerader valves out and put the fittings on charge with 26oz of freon and good to go
Make sure you replace all the o-rings

The purpose of flushing is that R12 oil and Pag oil doesn't mix and it could cause compressor lock up but I know people that have mixed oil for years with no problems
But since your compressor is locked up now you will be good
