pressure rated on tank?

i've got a 5 gallon tank and it says right on it that it's rated at 120 PSI. My 120 pressure switch just went bad and i have a 145 in my tool box, i'm wondering if it would be safe to run it with the bigger one? i wasn't sure if the rating ment the limit or what? someone help out?
