RC cars

OK, this probably needs to go in the model forum, but...oh, well. Here's the story. Someone gave me a RC car for Christmas, and at first I was like OK, whatever. Well, the other day I finally kinda started foolin around with it, and realized this might be fun to take to shows. Now, I'm a minitrucker so you know I couldn't leave well enough alone, soooooo....Now I've taken all the stickers off, sanded the door handles smooth, played with a airbrush a little, adjusted the suspension to a respectable height and some other things. My question is, Does anyone know any tricks, websites, anything for increasing the performance on something like this? I would think that there might be other gearing or more powerful electric motors out there. Any help is mucho appreciated! Thanx! Oh, and when finished it will be sporting a small logo! LOL
