Edited: 9/18/2009 8:36:09 PM by railin93  i called CanDo and the asshole told me they don't and wouldn't entertain the thought of building a set for isuzu's...said it cost to much to jig up and build if it wasn't gonna be something they sell a lot of and im not setting up a facebook account just to see their shit...make your wares public if you wanna sell the shit...now i tlaked to Mike at DHP and he showed me the ones he makes and i like them but they're a little rich for my blood right now...as for Hydroholics, i'd love to see what they can come up with...i really like the mighty max arms they made...i'd be game for some of those if it wasn't expensive...

Not trying to start an arguement here but Cando has had upper Isuzu arms available for at least a month, he does not offer lowers yet.

Steve at Cando is far from an asshole just FYI one of the best businessmen in the industry in my opinion. If you wana know anything about DHP just search BYC on here. If you cant find a source for the arms shoot me an email brian@illusivefabrications.com and I may be able to work something out with you for a 1 off set.

Numerous times we have discussed me sending him my arms to make some tubular jigs out of

Ya Steve is really one of the nicest guys I've ever talked to. And I agree with him about the arms. It's hard to justify the time involved in designing a set of control arms, especially when there isn't much of a demand for them. I went through that with the Mighty Max arms I built. They where expensive to build, and almost no demand for them.

I have to agree with Seth. I didn't want to build the arms for the Mitsu. I was just going to buy the arms from Seth, but I ended up doing a one-off set. No body, including myself (lol) wants to pay $600-$900 for a set of control arms. I did the ones for my Mazda and people asked about buying them, then I did the Mitsu ones and people asked about buying some. I am doing some Toyota ones next, and I bet people ask about those as well. I can asure you that when I tell people how much for a set, they will say the same thing... "Alright, cool, I will let you know when I have the money."

Ya I used Press in balljoints for the MM arms I did, and there is around $200 in balljoints alone at my cost. Once you add the time and materials to machine 4 ball joint cups, and two cross shafts you are in a few more bills. Then add in the time it takes to build the arms themselves, and I also machine my own bolt for the lower arm that will fit a standard bushing as well as the MM frame. And it took about a full day to build a jig for them. I was asking $850 shipped for the arms loaded with bushings, balljoints, cross shafts, custom bolts and weld on tabs. I had 3-4 people offer my like $500-600 for that. At that point it's not even worth building them, because I will make maybe $100 and I can make that in a few hours on any small job in the shop. I stopped making a lot of the arms and motor mounts I used to make for this reason. At some point, I probably won't make any products any more. It seems like no one is willing to pay for your time any more.
