im speaking for magazine featured vehicled because i think thats what your asking about, just everytone thinks that since its somewhat famous in a certain scene it can be sold at a celebrity status price, which is nto always the case but ive seen cover trucks get bought for 25k and shipped to japan, so there are those instances but more often theen not money is def lost on all minitruck sales. featured or not.

that and blue book value doesnt apply to a truck that has thousands of dollars wrapped up into suspension work, interior, and over all modification. there is only a specific clientel that will purchase a 1988 standard size pick up for 10-20k. bbv on my truck in excelent condition apraises for like 2,000..over my dead body will i sell it for that much. its got over 18k into it...im not saying i would sell it for 18k but i would hope for like 8k...its just something you have to take into consideration, although some people do go overboard and ask too much because they have a certain amount into it they want to recoup.

ive also seen people posting up their rides for sale for like 50,000 on mautofied only because it puts them in a particular spot in the adds...like closer to the front so when people are looking they see it before they see other vehicles.
