Are murals played out?

We were at a show last year and some traditional lowriders came in with old fashion murals of marvel guys and shit and my kid went nuts. Now that my car is going to the painter I was trying to figure out if it would be ghetto to do it for him...Like Spiderman on the hood shooting webs across the side and rear! What do you all think?
