i got some 18x7.5 im gonna get and they have a +40 offset ....how much will they sit in

my 17x 7.5 with a 40 offset sit about three to four inches in from a 2wd fender.(on a 93)

Are you serious? Three to four inches? Holy shit. I have 18x7 with 35mm offset, and they're about 1/4" from my fender lip.

I have a +40 offset on my 18's and I have about 2 1/2in. of clearance with 4wd fenders. You'll have to move your booster and clutch slave cylinder for sure if you BD.

damn right i can get some good cranks outta of the steering wheel when its layd out. who need 4wd fenders.

Only problem I have had with fitment is the spindle comes out too far and I cant get the center cap on till I grind it down a little. The front bolt on the strut bars barely touches the rim lip, grinder will take care of both of those issues.
