Evo clutch going out

I own a 2003 Evo 8 and my clutch went out with only 13,000 miles. I know about some others Evo's that had the same problem with the clutch going out within 15,000 miles. The dealers are saying there's no warranty on the clutch due to be an wear and tear item. I know that, but I think is too soon for a clutch to go out. Mitsubishi says there's no recalls on that item. It cost a lot of money to replace a clutch on evo's. If you are having the same problem let me know and call mitsubishi USA and let them know about your problem so maybe they can look into and start a recall.
