need some help putting my truck back together.

I got this truck with the motor apart. put a new timing chain, new head gassket, water pump, and all that good stuff on it.. Now im trying to get it back together. And this haynes manual isnt helping much..

My biggest issues are with vacuum lines.

Truck is a 95 yota, 2wd, reg. cab shortbed with a 22-re.

I got some pics of the areas im having trouble with.. if you guys could help me, id really appreciate it..


Ok first I think in the haynes manual it looks like theres some sort of fitting for 2 vacuum hoses to connect to.. As you can see in the pic, it was replaced with a plug. Anyone know what its actually called?


OK.. now do these 2 hoses connect to the missing part in the picture above?


I notice all the other hoses on the plugs on the valve cover go to the metal lines between the head and the intake manifold.. But they all are filled. So all i can think of is that they go to that missing piece.

ok. now Heres 1 hose on the charcoal canister. Not sure where thats suposed to go either.

Damn haynes manual has like.. 20 fucking pages of vacuum diagrams.. And 1 small drawing for 90+ trucks.. and nothing is labled so you cant see shit lol..

Ok so the one line from the charcoal canister(pic 3) goes to the bottom hard line on the set of 3 on (pic 5)
(Pic 4) from the fuel rail-goes to the top hard line not the one pointing up though .
Then there is another vacum line that needs to go from directly under the passanger side of the EFI, coming out of another one of those things like in pic 4 but bigger- .like this-
one goes to the middle hard line
So the hard line pointing up goes to the thing right next to it like this
That takes care of pic3,4,and 5.
Funny thing is I dont even have that second elec clip

Im wondering if you got a/c or something diff. that requires the second elec clip.
but my other area looks just like yours

Yea the truck does have AC, so that might be it.

if it is, i really dont even want the ac anyway.. i never use it.. and im sure theres going to be some sort of clearance issues with the bodydrop anyway.
