Anyone had experience with a 2 link?

I've had a friend tell me hes put them on at his shop and they work great..but I dont trust them..anyone had any experience? The kind I'm takin about bolts to the front spring perches and then bolts to the rear end and has a bar ties the two together..like the kit for an s-10 silver star customs sells..thanks
