how can i fix this shit...?

my cluster broke. now i don't know how fast i'm actually going. so i need to fix this. or if is possible... can i swap the sr5 cluster in my yota...????

is it the cable or the actual speedometer?


Th swap should be no problem at all, you may have to change the oil and water temp sending units to mechanical ones for it to read correctly.

v6 to v6, 22r to 22r.... unless the tach wont be right- there are ways to mod it tho

and make sure its cable or electronic speedo like he said

i'm not sure what it is...but i think is the cable cus everything elses works fine except the speedometer.

More than likely its the cable, thats an easy and cheap fix.

yeah dude, they are pretty cheap..i just had to get one cause mine was squeeling really bad. it was lik $20 at advanced autoparts.

can i find this in any auto parts store? n where is it located in the truck?

Yes you should be able to get this at about any auto parts store, they may have order it for you. It attaches to the back of the instrument cluster goes through the firewall and down the side of the transmission into the transmission. Should only need your hands and maybe a screwdriver and pliers for this.
