I want to put a antenna in my truck but dont like the AutoLoc one If I wanted one that big I wouldnt of shaved my stock one. I'm looking on Ebay and came across this one, Says you can put it in your Headliner and it will still work here is the link

I have this style.

Under the dash. Works just fine. Little static more than in a stock vehicle, but not tooo bad.

wow, i didnt know they mad such a thing like that.....my dad was telling me a while back that they make windsheilds with antennas in them as well. it goes up one side and across the top of the glass or something like that. i need a new windsheild anyways. has anyone else heard of this?

Those are mostly made for GM's the reception on those suck. Maybe they are better now but when they used it in the late 70's and early 80's trucks it would pick up all kinds of weird noises. Those windshields were also very, very expensive to replace.

oh i see....i could see how that could suck. hell even with the ones under the dash if they have little reception problems, they make fm booster that you can attach to them... who was it on here that put their antenna between the cab and bed...it attached to the frame or something around that area. it was a full ht antenna hidden.
