Welcome aboard Mitch

Are you asking what the pros and cons are of static dropped vs being bagged? Maybe its me but the way your questions read that is actually what your asking correct?

Static dropped means its lowered and cannot be adjusted unless done physically, ie. torsion bars, drop spindles, leafs, blocks..... Body dropped is the cutting of the body and floor pans to be even with or below the frame rails for a more lowered appearance.

The pros and cons of static vs bagged is kind of difficult to state. It basically depends on you and what you want your ride to do.

Static is by far the cheapest to drop, only thing you have to buy is drop blocks and new u bolts for the rear. unless you want to shell out the 200+ for drop spindles or springs pending what model you have. and usually can be done in a weekend.

Bagging a truck is more financially and time consuming of the 2. It involves a lot of welding and time. Usually you have to buy or make brackets/plates, 4 link, compressor's, bags, valves, switchbox, etc..... There is the task of relocating items under the hood, cutting out the inner fender wells, moving or swapping brake booster and so forth.

For starters I'd recommend static dropping it and then build up your parts collection until you have everything, then go to town on it. A lot of times people buy stuff and then they lose interest and sell their stuff cheap. Thumb throught the forums and look for some of the builds and if you have questions feel free to ask. Most of the chaps here are friendly and the others, well tell em to bugger off.

1. what are the pro's and con's of having your ute bodydropped and bagged.
pros, looks sweet, super low
cons, costs alot if shop built, time consuming, depending on which kind of bd u will run in to various and different problems with clearances, wheels hitting things

2. is there a big difference in the feel of the ride?
dunno, mines stockfloored with the cab mounts level with the floor so it will prob be noisy and vibrate.

3. whats the differences in cost?
roughly 10k for a shop to bag urr ride.
prob another 10k for them to bodydrop it, but who knows if your keen get on the phone to tuck, livin low, chop shop, they do great work in NSW

hope you can help me out cause im really siiiked about getting in to this.. btw im 16 and on my L's so im not exactly getting a descent wage lol..
